To help senior citizens enrich their life through the use of technology. To communicate effectively with family and friends, pursue interests and manage commitments.
All U3A members of any branch are welcome to join us in this journey of developing computer skills and confidence. We enjoy sharing our expertise and benefit from participation and questions.
Level of Expertise
We try to cater for both novice and experienced computer users. We would like the course to be enjoyable and sociable. We strive to build up confidence in the use of technology to enrich your lives in retirement. We cover areas of greatest interest and need rather than where we have expertise. The ability to communicate and gain information online adds value to your retirement years. If you can send an email, you are equipped to attend the course.
Benefits of attending
All who attend will gain a greater understanding of computers and how these can be used. Participants will gain confidence on how to solve their own particular problems. The back-up recordings and PowerPoint presentations will enable them to learn at their own rate.
Beyond just learning, our workshops are a place to connect with like-minded people, share a laugh, and gain the confidence needed to navigate today’s digital world without feeling inadequate.
